As many of you know, last summer, fellow kidlit author Shauna Holyoak suffered the heartbreaking loss of her beloved daughter Leah and her best friend BradyLee in a car accident. The girls were avid readers who met in elementary school. To honor their memory, please join us in donating books to the libraries of the schools they attended together. All donations will have the beautiful bookplate above, designed by Gail Villanueva, representing Leah and BradyLee’s favorite animals. These books will be distributed to the elementary, middle, and high school, so picture books, middle-grade, and YA are welcome. For authors/illustrators, signed books are wonderful but certainly not required.
